The Nazareth Blue Eagles sports season is now heading into its third week. The Nazareth football team took their 1-0 record over to Bethlehem Area School District to take on Freedom and fell short 67-34 to drop to 0-2 and will be right back on Friday, September 12 when they take on Liberty. The Nazareth field hockey team hosted Dieruff on September 4 and won 11-0 and then played Bethlehem Catholic on September 6 and won 10-2. The Nazareth girls soccer team went to Easton on September 3 and won 3-2 in two overtimes. Then on September 5 they played Dieruff and won 9-0. They hosted Salisbury on September 6 and won 3-1. On Thursday, September 11, the girls soccer team will host Whitehall at 4 p.m. and Central Catholic on September 13. The Nazareth boys soccer team hosted Easton on September 3 and won 2-1 and then went to Dieruff on September 5 and won 5-1. They will be at Whitehall at 4 p.m. on September 11 and host Central Catholic at 2 p.m. on September 13. The Nazareth girls tennis team got a 6-1 win over Central Catholic on September 4 and a 5-2 win over Whitehall on September 5 and 7-0 win over Dieruff on September 6. The girls tennis team will be at Bethlehem Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11.
